Domestic Installations
Domestic installation ranges from the installation of a single plug socket through to a complete property rewire. A customer recently asked us to help them with the electrical stage of their home renovation. New lights, sockets and switches were specified and fitted to the customers’ specific requirements. This also included upgrading their heating system, and fixing their room thermostats and programmer problems. Our experienced electricians can take a look and advise you whether you need to repair or have to replace any electrical item or the complete system.
Commercial Installations
Commercial installations have an almost endless number of requirements and are usually more complex than domestic installations. A business customer recently engaged our services, and we helped from the initial design, through to the full electrical installation, to certification and sign off with building control via our professional body the NICEIC. We carefully considered all the factors of the electrical layout and design stage and advised on specifics such as armoured cable, which in their case offered a greater degree of mechanical protection. Three phase distribution boards were also required due to the need for higher amounts of energy.
Inspection and Testing
We have been inspecting and testing homes and commercial properties across Devon for well over a decade. Being NICEIC Approved Contractors we have completed numerous fault finding and rectification tasks, on varying issues that our customers have experienced over the years. We are able to rectify faults easily, once our time served electricians have carried out the inspection and testing on circuits at fault, this highlights any problematic areas and can identify the cause of any fault present.

Landlords usually have condition reports completed every 5 years, this maintains the level of safety within the property and also ensures their tenants have not changed the wiring in any way that would be detrimental to the lifespan of the dwelling or anyone within it.
